The weather was glorious here today. The sun was out, the ice was melting, perfectly wonderful.
So what better to do than enjoy the weather?
I love kicking snow into the air.
Looking out on frozen Lake Parley. We saw several snowmobiles. We also saw two twin-engine planes. Either of those would be so much fun to do!
One of my roommates, Lauren, and I.We're so photogenic when we haven't done makeup or hair.
Building our snowman the proper way, by rolling it around until it becomes a huge ball. Our snowman collapsed later though, possibly from faulty building techniques. I suppose we can't all be Minnesotans!(before a trip to the grocery store tonight)
Me: "I'm wearing black sweats with white shoes!"
Roommate 1: "It's okay, I'm doing that too."
Me: "It looks bad."
Roommate 1: "Eh, whatever."
(pause)
Roommate 2: "Your pants have a white stripe, so it kinda matches."
Me: "Not so much."
Roommate 2: "I'm so excited to go to Germany."
Me: "Mmmhmm?"
Roommate: "I wouldn't have even known that [about wearing white shoes with the black sweats]. You can wear anything you want in Germany. They don't have fashion faux paus."
Me (trying to suppress laughter): "I see."
Disclaimer: Neither roommate speaking above was Lauren. She has a good sense of fashion.
It turned out to be a perfectly lovely day.
